MiaoMiao + BeanBean = Friends?

Sypnosis:

MiaoMiao and BeanBean decide to become friends,

and eat dinner together.

Kopi looks from afar,

and is shocked to see them eating together!

Her kaki BeanBean eating with THE CAT!

However, instead of rescuing BeanBean,

Kopi makes a run for her life.

Oblivious to Kopi's presence,

MiaoMiao and BeanBean continue eating...

Miao Miao wants attention

Just now me and emily were playing with Peanut
Peanug~ (deliberate spelling error)
Okay it's just that me and my sis likes to sing the name out in a certain pitch.
Wooh Peanut seems to be getting tamer and tamer nowadays..
In the past he will try to squeeze past our hands when coming out of the cage in order to get to the floor outside
that is he didn't want to come out to anybody's hand placed outside the cage door.
Now he will!
And as he is frolicking outside on the floor,
he will climb up our legs as we are sitting on the floor
Today Emily was holding him and we were trying to wipe off a cheek smudge on his face
Then he didn't like it and so we said forget it..
I randomly stroked his forehead in the tom ba lek direction
and then he remained still
I hope it was because he liked it not because he heard some inaudible noise though
However we tried this too many times and he become squirmy after a while..^^
Halfway, there was a very pitiful sounding "meow..." outside the bedroom door..
(Guess who is it???+_+)
Miaomiao was standing outside the bedroom door and she looked up to emily who opened the bedroom door to see what MiaoMiao wants..
MiaoMiao had taken her Mr Rugrats and placed it just in front of her,
where she then "meow.." pitifully to get us to open the door
so that she can play (or torture) her Mr Rugrats..
So sweetie..

The Human's Litter Box

MiaoMiao loves looking at the toilet bowl nowadays,
after that time her paw fell into it

Maybe she is quite intrigued by it,
how it does the same job as her litter box

We should show her "Meet the Parents" one of these days,
especially the scene where
the dog gets flushed down the toilet bowl
and comes out blue after that

Hehe....
Show her the dangers of the human litter box
Then she won't keep sneaking into the toilet
to visit MR Toilet Bowl

MiaoMiao makan!

We were trying to get MiaoMiao
used to fixed feeding times,
4 times a day.

Thing is,
MiaoMiao is so used to having her food at 7am,
that she sits outside our bedroom door
and meows for food,
even if we were supposed to wake up at 8am that day

Her one meow is more effective
than 15 seconds of my phone alarm tone sometimes


In the evenings it's a different story though

When I come home from work
She looks at me pitifully and meows,
as if saying
" Can you please feed me, 'cos the other 2 mamas
have been starving me..."

This is despite the fact that
she was fed about 10 - 15 minutes ago,
and she walked away from her food dish
after having ate enough

Trying to sow discord, MiaoMiao?

So...
Now we are just going to weigh out 60g of food for her each day,
and she can eat at more flexible timings,
since 60g is what Science Diet recommends

That'd better please the fussy cat

MiaoMiao's embarassing scenes

That day emily and me were sunning the clothes out to dry in the kitchen
Nobody realised that MiaoMiao was in the kitchen toilet
Till we heard a "plop"
We turned to see MiaoMiao coming out of the toilet
shaking some water from unknown water source from her foot.
From the water splatters seen on the side of the toilet seat,
we deduced that she must have slipped and land her foot in the toilet bowl..
*chuckles*

Today,
I was having my friend over for a pets visit
My friend was talking animatedly about her school stuff,
then quite funny so i was laughing
from my side, i could see the television
when suddenly,
MiaoMiao,who had been sleeping on top of the television,
fell down directly from her sleeping position on the tv.
I was shocked and I "arghhhh.."
Then quickly carry her and sayang sayang her..
But as I was still in laughing mode from just now,
I have to stifle my laughter because otherwise
I would have hurt MiaoMiao's pride..

MiaoMiao goes for a bath

We decided to give MiaoMiao a bath today

cos she was getting a little smelly

Not to mention she likes to use her smelly paws

to bat our faces,

sometimes with unnecessary strength.

We locked her in the bathroom,

together with us (Linda and Ougwee),

and of course a pail of warm water and animal soap

She was calmer after we sayang-ed her for a while

but once the bath started,

she started going crazy,

grabbing on to the one carrying her

So we had to get wet along with her,

because she refused to let go of us

Next thing,

she started climbing over our shoulder

to our back in an attempt to escape

So we were really wet all over

Wet and MiaoMiao's fur was all over us.

Great.

Miaomiao dashed out the bathroom

as soon as the door was open

Luckily her "wrath" only lasted as long as her wetness

The wet furball goes to the shoe cabinet, determined to make herself smelly again.

The Animals' GSS

Took advantage of Pets' Lover Centre
membership birthday month discount
and brought 2 bags of MiaoMiao's food,
a packet of cat treats
and puppy shampoo which Emily got for Ryan's dog

It was only when we were walking out of the shop
when Emily realised that we were only given a 5% discount,
instead of the 15% discount for birthday month

We then went back to the shop to ask.

Their reply was that,
we have to state that it is our birthday month
when we present our membership card,
as our information is private and confidential,
and it was impossible to know the
member's birthday month from the card itself

Hmm.
Actually I'm still not at the stage
when I feel the need to keep my age secret

And I don't mind if PLC sends greetings
or discount coupons for my birthday

So...
There's no need to keep my birthday month
private and confidential you see?

But anyway,
as Emily had complimented,
the staff had politely voided the first purchase
and re-scanned our purchases,
this time giving us the 15% discount
that we should have

I just like to find bones to pick

Anyway, this is the cat treats that we got for MiaoMiao

MiaoMiao loves it to bits :)
It's just like ikan bili,
so MiaoMiao won't have to resort to stealing off from Popo
when she's not looking

Good Morning!

Linda's phone alarm rings.
Emily scoops MiaoMiao up in her arms
and carries her into the bedroom

MiaoMiao peers out of Emily's arm curiously,
waiting to give Linda a very cheerful "Good Morning" meow

MiaoMiao looks at Linda's double decker bed and froze.
Instead of Mama sitting there,
there was a girl with very messy hair and half-opened eyes

MONSTER!!!!!!!!!!!
MiaoMiao immediately jumped out of Emily's arms,
and dashed off for her dear life
When Emily went to find her,
she was still in a state of fright
with her tail puffed up


VERDICT: I do really look quite scary when I wake up.


Linda decides to console MiaoMiao
after having given her a bad shock
So she went to sayang-sayang MiaoMiao

MiaoMiao starts to realise the MONSTER is actually Mama,
and rubs her little head against Linda's face
Then her nose goes towards Linda's ear,
and Linda could hear the sound of
MiaoMiao blowing air into her ear

Luckily MiaoMiao didn't have cat food breath at that time
or Linda would have fainted and not made it to work

When the cat is in, the little animals come out to play!

The little animals having a feast. Of course without MiaoMiao.

MiaoMiao you ever wondered why?

We wonder...

"Bye Mama! I'm going next door to check on the neighbour's plants!"

Sometimes we wonder if MiaoMiao was really sterillised

Not that we want to insult the vet's skills,

but the way MiaoMiao've been acting,

making so much noise at night

and now performing her new stunts of jumping out to the corridor,

I mused about whether MiaoMiao was simply cut up and sewn back again,

without actually being sterillised.

Then I realised the 2 other Mamas also have the same thought

(But of course we know that MiaoMiao was really sterillised)

MiaoMiao can't even spare us a bit of window breathing space

We leave it a little open

and she still tries to climb out.

Sighs.

RIP, Cocoa

7 June 09: RIP Cocoa

After the injury caused by Fat Cat,
Cocoa suffered,
and finally passed away on 7 June

Exactly one year after Milky went

Cocoa has been buried,
though it's better not to say where

Maybe Cocoa and Milky
can carry on their squabbling over every minor thing

Fat Cat invasion

Yesterday night

something rather unexpected happened

Fat Cat,

whom we thought would never dare to come into our house,

got into our bedroom through the window

(In case you don't remember,

she's the cat who keeps coming up to disturb MiaoMiao)

It was only when Emily opened the bedroom door to enter

that we realised Fat cat was right in our room

By then,

the damage was already done

Fat Cat had injured Cocoa,

leaving a gash near her right eye.

A pretty big injury for a small thing like Cocoa

Now we can be sure Fat Cat was the one

who caused the foot injury to MiaoMiao.

(the one which cost us $80 plus at the vet)

Cocoa's gash is the same as the one on MiaoMiao's

I've got half a mind to get Fat Cat into a box,

get onto a cab

and transport her far far away,

maybe somewhere like Jurong East

But then people will say that I am mean

So,

we just have to close not only the living room window,

and now also the bedroom window

Thank you very much Fat Cat.

Poor cocoa B

Cocoa B was injured by Feimao today.. my poor baby..

We had no idea how she got into our bedroom. She had overturned Cocoa's cage and left Cocoa B with a serious injury near the eye and around the neck.

Hope she will be fine.. it really upsets us that her little chubby face is disfigured =(

MiaoMiao the heroine

Again there was one night,

about 2 nights ago,

when it was simply too blasting warm in the room

that I decided to move out to sleep in the living room instead.

MiaoMiao made her miaow-miaow sound

then jumped up on the television,

miaowing as if she was Lion King on the cliff

If I wanted to be more optimistic,

I could believe that MiaoMiao was trying to keep me safe from lizards

so she was making an attempt to scare the lizards away
