The Sore Loser

After Ougwee pointed it out to me,
I then realised that many a time,
the following actually happens,
when we always assume that Momo has been harrassing Pepper:

1. Pepper decided to play with Momo, since he's bored.
2. They start playing together happily.
3. For some reason or other, Pepper loses and Momo wins
4. Momo wants to continue the game. Being the sore loser,
Pepper snarls fiercely at Momo (Heh~~!!!)


Then after that I was telling Pepper not to always
snarl so fiercely at Momo,
during which I imitated his Heh~~!! Heh~~!!! snarl.
He then turned around,
looked at me,
and gave a short pitiful whimper

I guess I can't imitate his snarl,
or he would think I'm threatening him

Sterilisation coming up for Momo!

As quoted, with him sleeping like that,
he'll sterilise himself before we actually take him to the vet

He will be going to the vet soon,
tentatively 15 June.

If anyone give me some Hello Panda,
he can have his Happy Sterilisation Day presents
like Pepper the other time

Revenge on the Vaccum Cleaner

What Momo does to the vacuum cleaner when no one is watching....

Pepper's pissed off...

Pepper banning me from using laptop.

("Mama play with me please!!!")

"I don't care, I'm not leaving until you say yes"

(Of course he's not here now, or else how do I type this?)

I guess Pepper got a little pissed off

with his mama who always surf the internet,

reading stupid stuff on Facebook,

typing nonsensical stuff on Blogger

while giggling to herself,

that he decided to BAN mama from using the laptop!

Upon making that decision,

he sprawled himself across my keyboard,

making sure that I could not read or type anything

I tried to put my hands in to type,

but that only resulted in him

trying to push my hands away,

or biting it

(He's not the biting type,

I guess he's really quite pissed off)

Tried petting him,

then he took my hand in his two paws to bite

Okay, I think now he's ignoring me,

so I've better stop using the Internet

(especially to bad mouth him)

Momo-replica

Saw a Momo-lookalike (named Jerry)

while looking at Cat Welfare's website

I think if I saw him outside,

I might have thought Momo ran out of our house,

and maybe call home to check if he is at home!

He even has the gong gong expression like Momo

And the person is asking for $80 as adoption fees.

That is so WOW,

like maybe the cat eats abalone every day while at her house.

New litter. Failed

A while ago we changed the litter to Tom and Pus brand
because the old brand was too dusty

Then after learning about how
sodium bentonite (found in Tom & Pus)
can be very bad for cats,
we changed (very recently) to Pee Wee Brand

The three cats don't like the brand very much,
though it cost at least double the price of the older brands

Shows how unmaterialistic cats are

And we also changed to a larger litter tray
(which is actually a baby tub)

I guess that is too much change for them to handle.

Miaomiao went about today,
trying to look for the old litter tray.
She peered up at what was on the old TV table
and didn't find her litter tray
so she went "NEOW, NEOW~!!"

I think she only went to the new litter tray
as a last resort thing.

She placed her paw very tentatively into the litter tray,
trying to step on as less litter as possible
Then she stood on only her toes (kind of)
and lifted her butt so that it was as far from the litter
as it could be

The moment she finished her business,
she leapt out of the litter tray

Then she walked off a few steps,
and thought it better to bury her poo

And she put her paw in,
only to feel disgusted when
her paw came in contact with the litter,
and shook her paws rigorously
like what she always does when
she feels disgusted

Then she thought she didn't want to bury anymore
and simply walked off

The wake-up call

It was about 6 in the morning today,
when Momo jumped up onto my bed,
(getting rid of Pepper who didn't appreciate
any invaders on HIS bed)

First he came to smell my face.
(some sort of an inspection routine he had)
After my face passed the Momo QC,
he decided he needed his breakfast now.

So he stood up,
with his paws on the wooden railing of my bed.
He positioned himself very properly,
before he started:

"Ah!   Ah!    Ah!"


Of course I had to get up
to give him his breakfast

Miaomiao's wish

Miaomiao has entered the Wish Bone Contest!

Happily ever after for Miaomiao
Miaomiao was found in the drain when she was young.
She was so hungry and cold then.
I wish that she would always have a comfortable life,
sleeping on a bed and fluffy pillow.

Miaomiao and Momo got quite happy today
when they saw me
taking a packet of preserved guava out of the refrigerator

(Actually, Miaomiao got excited first,
then Momo copied her)

Then Miaomiao jumped up and sat on the stool,
waiting for her treat

Not every packet of preserved food
in the refrigerator belongs to you, Miaomiao...

As I was eating the preserved guava,
I think they were still expecting me to feed them some

sigh.

Actually he was sleeping in one of his funny positions again...

I got a job offer from the recruitment agency. I told the agent

I was interested in the position so she sent in my resume to be

shortlisted. Crossed Momo's feet for good luck (since he was

right in front of me). Got it.

*Hugs bag strap while sleeping* (Mama please don't go to school!)

The cat who worried too much

The 3 cats and the 2 guinea pigs
were taking supper together just now

And Beanbean merely wanted
to sniff Miaomiao's food a little,
then Miaomiao got worried that
her food would be snatched,
and lifted a paw to hit Beanbean's head

So naughty!

And actually, guinea pigs are vegetarians,
so Miaomiao needn't worry actually...

Pepper's new bed

I took my mattress protector out last week,
so that I could sun it.

After sunning,
it was back on my bed,
and Ougwee folded it up nicely,
put it at the foot of my bed,
so that Pepper could use it as a bed

I've been lazy to put it back under the bedsheet
so it's kind of acting as a mini bed for Pepper
the past few days

Some other day I'll put it back
But Pepper seems to like to sleep on it a lot!

Miaomiao's grudge against TV

Miaomiao sits on the television,
and keeps tapping on the Channel 8 logo
on the top of the screen

I wonder what she has against Mediacorp

Not to mention that she's blocking our view

3 Dish+1 Soup was showing just now,
and Miaomiao was so super intrigued
when one of the actors was rubbing the cucumber slice

Too bad, not for you Miaomiao!

The comical cat

Momo is such a comical cat

While all the cats go "Meow, meow!",
he goes "Ah, Ah!"

I spy!

I spy with my little eye,
Momo during his poo-time

One leg is hoisted up against the side of the litter box,
while the other remains in the litter box

And there he is with his very serious expression,
trying to clear his bowel

What he probably didn't realise was that
he looks so uncivilised like that

When

When Miaomiao tries to scare you,
she is just a very scared kitty herself

When Pepper hides away somewhere,
he just wants you to come and find him,
and play with him

When Momo is left unsupervised in the kitchen,
you might go hungry for dinner

When the three of them give that too-serious look,
it is usually during their poo-time at the litter tray

When their pupils dilate and they look at you
like you are the most beautiful thing on earth,
keep your long hair away from them

When they sleep they are the most innocent-looking,
and therefore all the naughty things they did in the day
would have been forgotten....

Buddy Buddy

Right now as I am typing this,
Pepper and Momo are sleeping together on the table

It's so sweet!
Pepper was sleeping on the table already,
then Momo came up the table,
licked Pepper a little,
then proceeded to cuddle together with Pepper,

They have never been very buddy
(the result of male ego and pride),
but they are so comfortable sleeping together like that

The best thing is,
Pepper didn't get up and go or something

The sight of them sleeping is a huge distraction
when I'm watching idol drama
Hmm...

Too-effective shampoo

We might need to reconsider whether
to use BIO GROOM WHITE shampoo on Pepper in future,
because his fur is turning slightly brown.

Meaning turning from black to brown

Shows how effective the shampoo is,
because Pepper's magnificant chest hair is pearlie white

Pepper+Miaomiao+Momo=?

Two cats, Pepper and Miaomiao
were lounging in the closet.

Then a third cat, Momo, came in to join the fun

After that there was only one cat left in the closet.

Keep sleeping!

The weather was so hot last night,
I decided to go sleep on the floor,
since my mattress was also producing so much heat

Pepper came in and saw me sleep on the floor
And he refused to let me sleep on the floor.
He digged at the hole between my back and the floor,
kept using his little head to nudge my hand,
just so that I would not sleep on the floor

And all the while I was telling him to stop doing that,
because I had exams the next day

Maybe since he personally seldom sleeps on the floor,
he must think that I have a loose screw for sleeping on the floor

Finally,
about 20 minutes later,
he decided to give up, and slept on the table.

The moral of the story is,
When Pepper tries to wake you up,
perservere and sleep on!

Our (not so secret) informer
