Choosy Momo

Momo ahhhed! in the morning (as usual) yesterday.

The mamas were still asleep,

so Popo started to open the food container,

intending to feed him.

He could have gotten his food

if he was patient enough to wait a few more seconds.

But no,

just as Popo was about to feed him,

He strutted off to the closed bedroom door,

and ahhed! again asking Popo to help him open the door.

He is such a big shot to choose who feeds him.

So in the end Emily had to get up to feed him.

Says the possessive cat

Momo : " This is MY bag!! "

Happy 3rd Birthday Miaomiao!

Once again,
the traditional post that comes on each cat's birthday.

This year's theme shall be:

5 things Miaomiao should improve on

(Since supposedly this should be less than the number of reasons why we love her)

1. Stop using her paw to whack our heads. It really crushes our fragile egos.

2. She should not lick the body part we just touched 5 seconds ago. If she really doesn't like the smell of our hand on her body, she should hold back for one minute and only start licking when we are not looking.

3. She should attempt to look less sulky when we are taking photos of her.

4. Stop vomitting. To be specific: Stop going to my bed just so that she can vomit.

5. Stop being such a clean freak when we feed her wet food or prawn. Miaomiao hates getting her whiskers dirty, so we end up having to feed her bit by bit using our hands.

To be nice to her, we shall just stop at 5.

That's all!

Spring cleaning!

It's spring cleaning time,

so the cats get spring cleaned too.

They are luckier than dogs from other households;

they only get a bath

We started with Momo first,

then remembered why we said before to bathe Momo the last.

The screams he makes while bathing

is enough to make any brave cat fear being the next to bathe

Miaomiao almost made the record

of not making any noises while bathing,

but she ruined that record in the last few minutes of her bath

As usual, Pepper is always the most easy to bath.

No fuss made.

The sun is rising from the West

Today morning Momo did not take his food.

For a cat of his type not to eat,

it's like having the sun rise from the West instead.

We got a little worried that he might be sick.

Emily also noticed that his gums were more pale in colour.

Anyway seeing that he did not eat at all,

I took out Fussy cat for him.

The moment he saw the can,

he ahhed!, which is pretty typical of a Momo.

He then proceeded to eat the wet food up greedily.

I don't even have to rinse off food remains before washing his plate, he really licks it clean

Luckily he seems pretty normal.

Open door, Popo!

Popo is so happy that Pepper woke her up.

Apparently he stood up beside her bed and kept pawing at the mattress,

and "orwell!! " to wake her up

When she got up,

he quickly led her to our bedroom door,

which was closed,

and stood up again while pawing at the door.

He looked over at Popo while he was doing this.

So he got his door open

Today morning Ougwee set her alarm for 6.30am and immediately snoozed it.

The alarm probably rang for less than 5 seconds.

But as usual Momo is sharp enough not to miss it.

The next moment he appeared right beside her bed.

"ahhh!~" "huh?!???~"
