The thing about cats is that you could spend a hundred dollars to buy a grand little scratching post with a platform and all for then, but they could be just as contented playing with an old cardboard box.

The holy paw

It's so stressful being close up with Miaomiao sometimes.

Yesterday Miaomiao was lying on the shoe cabinet.
I kissed her head, pressing down on it slightly.

She immediately sat up straight,
and raised her holy paw preparing to whack my face.

I quickly stepped back to avoid the coming 'attack'.

She stretched out her paw and tried to reach out a bit further
to her mama who was avoiding punishment
