The second year deserves another more detailed than last year :)
2 years ago today (6 March 2022), we bought Momo home from the hospital and had to be prepared to let him go
His kidney toxin values spiked and coupled with a newly diagnosed heart problem, the prognosis wasn't too optimistic.
So the decision was to bring him home for palliative care so that he could be comfortable for the last few days of his life
Unexpectedly, he started eating more on the 3rd day home (Probably cos he really liked Applaws in Gravy).
His screaming used to be irritating but it then became a way for me to know he was getting better.
He also slowly gained the energy to rejoin the everyday-scream-for-breakfast club, so that the club finally returned to a full strength of four.
The next few months were occupied with regular visits to his primary vet (aka GP) to monitor his condition. Momo had to be fed medicine twice a day, and injected with subcutaneous fluids twice a day.
During the times he is not taking medication, he is happily cuddling with the humans or chilling with his best friend Manman. Not to forget screaming at Popo while she is watching TV.
At some point of time Momo seems to know that he NEEDS to be on the medications, and is now very suitable for filming a demo video for feeding cat medication if anyone needs him (please contact his manager Linda)
So far we had 2 additional years with him.
Here is wishing many more years to come, tho Mama knows you are old already (just turned 14)
