Pepper's tricks

Pepper always gets a treat
each time he fishes his favourite Burp treat from the refrigerator,
so he really loves to do that!

Of course,
the other two cats get a share of the treat as well

Lazy Momo

Momo doesn't even bother to chase laser lights now.
He just stays where he is,
and moves his paws a little here and there

It's harder to make him lose weight now!

Why Momo's name always appears

Eating hay again

Momo is eating hay (again).

Emily: "Momie ah, your butt got one piece you still want to eat!"

I wonder why Pepper and Momo
keep thinking they are guinea pigs and eat the hay

Quick updates

Momo and Miaomiao just went for their annual vaccinations
Momo's on the heavy side,
so the vet instructed "to watch his diet".

But if you knew Momo
he's not easy to watch sometimes.

The new vet is not very good,
but the one we have been seeing
moved to a vet clinic quite far and much more expensive!
Hmmph.

The omen

We just like to imagine what they would say
if they could talk

The Hay in the Butt

Momo has this irritating habit of eating hay
right from the guinea pigs' hay-rack.

It's irritating because after he eats the hay,
he ends up constipating
because the hay is stuck in his anus.

This happened yesterday,
and following his Number Two,
Momo walked around with a stick of hay stuck in his butt.

We said never to let him into the bedroom at night,
because of his dirty butt

The next morning I woke up
to see Mr Smelly Butt on my bed

Wells,
I thought maybe it's okay
since the hay might not be stuck in his butt anymore

I checked to see that the hay was still there.
Furthermore I think it looked
a little more withered than before,
probably due to the foulness in his butt

Miaomiao would have tried to remove
the instrusive object from her butt

Only Momo would have been so happy with
walking around with a hay stuck in his butt

Can't really pull it out because it is stuck
Shall have to wait til he poops again.

Miaomiao the chauffeur

Mama I shall drive today! You all can just sit back and relax!

Let me first look for the accelerator pedal. Is this car kitty-friendly?

Ooh.. I think my legs are too short... :(

How to give your Mama a shock (and go to sleep) at night

1. Wait about 10 minutes after she goes to bed.
She should have drifted off to sleep already.
2. At this time remember you are a nice and sweet
"Peppie-Tou", so you should accompany her to sleep!
3. Jump onto the table beside her double decker bed.
4. Leap up onto her bed, and aim to land on her tummy.
This way you don't come to sleep with her unannounced,
which can be kind of rude. Yes, also with a "WHRUUHH!!",
like what you always do.
5. Then walk to your little blanket at the corner of your bed.
6. Mama will be awake and breathing a little louder and saying
she got a fright. But wells, it's sweet Pepper and not a monster
that came, so why is she so frightened?
7. Sleep.

Another lizard died

Miaomiao caught a lizard last night (again)
She found it in the corner of the living room,
and when I tried to grab her away from that corner,
she made a ~~~~ (again the sounds coming out from her are hard to spell) sound,
which she does when someone tries to take her away from something she treasure a lot.

Then she ran into the bedroom.
We were wondering if the lizard was then
in Miaomiao's mouth or still in  the living room,
but then the two male cats followed her into the bedroom.
That kind of answered our question.

I went to find her in the bedroom,
and saw the tail sticking out of her mouth

I seriously felt like pulling out my hair then.
Why must she be obssesssed with lizards,
of all things?
To think the night before,
she was sitting demurely in the basket,
while everyone was gushing over her.

Anyway,
when she felt that she was safe from potential thieves,
she set the lizard on the floor
I don't know what she wanted to do though

Ryan caught the lizard for us and it was discarded
(It died so we threw it away)

Miaomiao is so YUCKS!

After that she sat in that area of the bedroom,
perhaps mourning for the lizard's death.

Her mind is never easy to read...

Little Miss Jade Paws

It's a rather terrible feeling
to have your cat use her paw
to push your head away,
just because she doesn't want her claws to be cut

I used the word "her",
so it should quite obvious who
