Back to the vet!

MiaoMiao went to the vet today

Placed her in the box,
and pretty soon
she was meowing and whimpering like there was no tomorrow

During the journey we must have
appeared like idiots talking to a box

While waiting for our turn at the clinic
there was a Caucasian couple with a dog
The lady petted MiaoMiao,
then looked at us and asked
"Is she an indoor cat?"
"Are you going to be a responsible pet owner"
"Yes", we replied
"Going to neuter your cat..?"
I kept silent 'cos I heard noodle
and I was still trying to digest that sentence
Thanks goodness my sister answered,
or I might have said something stupid

MiaoMiao is now 1.2 kg,
as weighed by the vet today
Heavier and heavier by the day...

MiaoMiao yowled in pain
when her temperature was taken
(For your information, it's a rectal thermometer)
So I tried to console MiaoMiao
with Fancy Feast when she gets home

The vet heard me and said
"Fancy Feast? It's kind of very fanciful,
so many flavours and stuff.
I accidentally tasted it once. Not all that great"
Erm....

Turns out that MiaoMiao can't have her vaccination today
because of a slight fever
(she vomitted her food in the afternoon)

So wells, we will have to bring her back another day
and traumatise her all over again

She slept quite soundly when we reached home
The journey to the vet must have tired her out,
she didn't even try to run out to the corridor
when the front door was open
