Tom-cat danger

Fancy Feast treats don't work on MiaoMiao anymore
As she grows,
she grows out of old tricks too

Despite gettting her Fancy Feast bribe today,
she sprinted out of the house today,
as I was leaving for school this morning

And out to the corridor she ran,
a little further than where she usually run to

In my poor night/dark morning vision,
I saw something about 10m in front of me


Oh no.
A tom cat out there,
staring at MiaoMiao

As usual MiaoMiao "played hard to get"
running behind our flower pots
and finally darting over to the neighbour's plants.
She stayed under the pot rack,
refusing to come out,
just simply staring in the tom-cat's direction

I think the neighbour family was awake
I just hope they didn't hear me scolding MiaoMiao.
They might think they have a lunatic neighbour.

I had to resort to calling Emily,
waking her up from her peaceful sleep.
I really didn't know how to get MiaoMiao out
AND keep her away from that tom-cat
(sorry!!!)

It's understandable why
the tom-cat came up all the way
to look for MiaoMiao,
given how pretty she is.

But tom-cat,
MiaoMiao is out of your league!

Finally got MiaoMiao back
into the safety of home,
after 15 minutes of chasing after her

And I was late for lecture for 17 minutes,
thanks to Miss MiaoMiao.

Okay, I'm always late for my 8 o'clock lecture,
but it's still her fault.

We really need to look into sterilisation pretty soon
