DO NOT RECYCLE

Pepper obviously feels that
there are some things we shouldn't have to recycle

We have a recycling corner thing in our kitchen,
which we place in things we can recycle
and then bring it down to the neighbourhood recycling bin
from time to time

In the middle of the night
Pepper fishes a piece of plastic from the corner
(He selects that piece particularly becauses
it has a crinkly sound which he loves!)

Then he holds it in his mouth
and run into the bedroom
and drops it on Ougwee's bed,
while she is sleeping.

Then he looks expectantly at
Ougwee's sleeping face,
waiting for her to throw it out
so that he can play FETCH!

Of course he didn't get to play his favourite game.

It was only when Ougwee woke up in the morning
that she will see the piece of plastic on her bed,
and have some vague memory of
Pepper jumping up onto her bed with this piece of crinkly plastic.
