Pepper's sterilisation trip

Pepper is at the vet right now
Today we sent him for his sterilisation,
so we had to start him on a fast
from about 12am onwards

Of course he was a little unhappy,
cos MiaoMiao got to eat and he didn't
Felt quite bad about it
and had to keep him in another room
while we fed MiaoMiao

"Where am I going?"

MiaoMiao wonders what is going to happen to her little boy

Popo once commented that

MiaoMiao will not bother to look for Pepper

while Pepper is not at home

She was very wrong.

When Pepper was taken out by us,

she started meowing very loudly,

looking for Pepper.

Wells,

in about 3 hours she will be able to see her Pepper

we are missing him too

Pepper was very very scared
when we were taking him to the vet
he was meowing like a little child

the cab driver had a lot of questions

to ask about Pepper

same questions though,

like why we have cats and not dogs

I definitely prefer this vet clinic

to the one we brought MiaoMiao for sterilisation

the vet gave Pepper a check-over

in the room with us,

and explained what she were checking

what's more,

she also took a sample from Pepper's fur

to check for suspected parasites

because there were white stuff on his fur

but nothing was wrong,

Pepper just get all those "dandruff" all the time,

maybe it's because his fur is black

the last time we brought MiaoMiao

for sterilisation at the other vet clinic

we were told to just leave her there with the staff,

it would have been so much better

if she was checked over with us there

At one point of time

during the check-over

he cuddled against me

(I was standing near the examination table)

and buried his head in the crook of my arm

I can see that my elbow is a great source of comfort

for both MiaoMiao and Peper

Pepper really got to stop

giving that saucepan expression whereever he goes

We keep getting questions of whether he is fierce

(the nurse asked us)

when he's really a gentle kitten who likes to cuddle against us

and the vet didn't remember who was MiaoMiao
(her "New Year Present")
She said that she simply loved Pepper's tag
which I was rather amused
because the last time she saw MiaoMiao's tag,
she commented that "the name so big sure can see"
which didn't sound like a compliment on the tag

and Pepper is sure to be quite frightened right now
maybe he's made friends with the animal patients there though
