Broke!

We brought Momo to the vet today,
and he was a very brave boy,
not making noise on the journey
(can I say here that I'm not trying
to say that Pepper is very unbrave?)

The taxi uncles seem to have all gone to bai nian today

But he is quite scared of dogs though.
At the vet waiting area
there were many dogs waiting for their turns
(maybe at least 5)
And while all the dogs were socialising,
Momo were doing his "heh-heh" routine,
which is his style of snarling that no one notices
except his mamas
In case if it is hard to imagine what he was doing,
think Harry Potter doing that snake language.
It's something like that.

Then anyway it's lucky that we brought him to the vet today
(We noticed his swollen eye yesterday)
Because, there is more to what meets the eye
(Cool huh right? My phrasing and not the ailment lah!)

The vet, after having looked at his swollen eye
and taken note of his sneezing fit,
diagnosed him with cat flu

And then she looked at his fur
and decided to do a microscopic test
And she found that he had lice

By this time Momo was trembling
I guess he has his unbrave times sometimes....

So we had to get flu antibiotics,
Vitamin B, lice spray for him,
and also lice prevention chemical
to apply on Pepper and MiaoMiao,
one box for each cat

Which came up to quite an ungodly amount,
considering that a small little cat went to the vet

When the cats have three mamas,
each born in the Year of the Tiger, Snake and Monkey,
all which coincidentally clashes with the Year of 2010,
the mamas tend to go broke quite easy.

And it turns out that Momo is not too cooperative in taking medicines,
so he either promotes us to a sergeant (adds 3 scratch lines to our wrist)
or promotes us to a corporal (adds 2 scratch lines to our wrist)

We will have to bring him back
if his eye doesn't swells down by Monday
We hope it does gets better...
