Happy 2nd Birthday Miaomiao!

It's Miaomiao's second birthday today!
Two years ago,
on this very day,
the small 3-month old filthy little Miaomiao
came into our house.

From the then timid and scared-of-orange-tee-shirts Miaomiao,
she is now a rather social elite cat,
or at least she acts like one

For the first birthday of the three cats,
I wrote about the story
of them joining our family.

So for the second birthday,
the theme shall be the
20 Reasons why we Love _________!


So here I start:

20 Reasons why we love Miaomiao!

1. Her expression is damn comical!

2. She is a cat with great determination. For example,

if she wants her food in the middle of the night,

she will keep calling and calling and calling

(Woo~~), even if we try to ignore her.

I don't seem to sound like I love her at all :(

3. She is a very maternal cat! She has been a great surrogate mum

to both Pepper and Momo when they just came. She would play with

them, lick them clean and make sure they bury their poo properly.

They don't seem to appreciate it though, they kind of like to bully her.

4. We love her NEOW NEOW!! sounds. So special! :)

5. Her "Miaomiao" eyes when she gets excited watching moving objects.

Then WHAMP! Her paw hits your nose. That was what she was watching.

6. She takes pride in her beautiful tail a lot and swish it with class

while she walks.

7. We can dress her up in pretty little dresses! :)

8. She always looks so guilty whenever she vomits, probably because
she was embarrassed for making a mess on the floor, though we don't
scold her for it.

9. She keeps off the living room table (most of the time) unlike the other
two who keep walking all over our papers and pushing handphones onto
the floor.

10. Popo especially loves her because she tattle-tales on the other two
cats' naughty deeds.

11. Her entertainment cost is extremely cheap. For example, she is very content
with kicking around a piece of Pee Wee litter which is found in abundance in
the litter tray. Or she could just sit in some corner of the house biting on the netting package
of FairPrice's Chef Brand Onion and is still able to enjoy herself.

12. By Emily: even though Miaomiao doesn't like to sleep beside us (since she is
an anti-social kind of cat), she accompanied Emily to sleep the other time
she was sick.

13. Miaomiao is a very patient cat.
If she wants food, she can sit in front of her food dish
for so long without making any sound,
that no one realised she was hungry.

14. She can pronounce her own name. (Since her name is Miaomiao)

15. Much as we don't appreciate this particular part about her, she

knows that we don't like lizards (I think?) and spends time helping

us to exorcise all lizards from the house.

Well, let's give her the benefit of the doubt...

16. By Ougwee: Because Miaomiao amuses us with her "pfff pfff pfff" antics.

Which means using her right paw to tentatively touch some object

she has not figured out what is it, or whacking things with her right paw.

17. She is always well-groomed and sweet-smelling.

18. By Popo: "I don't know." Then she goes back to watching television.
Popo is such a wet blanket. To think Miaomiao always let her know
when the other two cats are naughty.

19. She still shows her little-girl side to us. She loves company when she eats,
a good brushing session now and then, and she always rush to the bed
when she sees someone enters the room, just to get into position for us
to give her a tummy rub.

20. She poops very neatly. Actually Ougwee said that she has
neat litter habbits.

Miaomiao's birthday just over as I'm finishing this entry
