What happens at night

It was late in the night,
at about 3.40am.

Everyone in the house was sound asleep,
except this tortoiseshell cat.

Her name is Miaomiao.

She sat beside her Mama Emily's sleeping head,
looked at her with her kitty eyes,
and made a soft sound,
surprisingly able to wake humans up.

I don't know how to spell and describe that sound,
it's not like neow NEOW! where it can be spelt
N-E-O-W.

So she went making that sound.
XXX~!   XXX~!

May I add that she was making that sound
right at Emily's face
It's her new habit since we started the fixed meal thing

She gets hungry at night,
so she always look for the person
that she can wake up the easiest.

So she is either perched on the railing of Emily's bed,
or sitting very near her head
when she feels her hunger pangs

But yesterday I woke up instead,
so I went to the kitchen,
put some food in the food dish,
and while Miaomiao went to eat,
I went back into the bedroom and shut the bedroom door

In case she tries her face-to-face trick again...

Momo,
who was on my bed sleeping,
jumped down my bed
and sat on the floor in the bedroom
when he heard the food sound.

Then he saw me close the door
and go back to sleep

He must have been very bewildered
at why the door was closed.

He went "AHHH~!"

Then since I was back in my bed already,
he jumped on to the table near the bed and sat

I petted his head from my bed.

Then I think that he must have been so happy,
that he felt that no words would describe his happiness

He jumped up to my bed,
with a tiny "Woo!",
and trotted to the foot of my bed where
he normally sleeps,
and then (no prizes for guessing)

AHHH!!~

(I wonder why we have such a weird cat)

Then he started purring VERY VERY LOUDLY

It must feel very nice
that your very sleepy mama even bothers to pet your head

Then he trotted to a spot beside me
and lay down.

I petted him with my eyes closed,
but the irritating thing about him is that
sometimes when he wants to let you know
how happy is he with your sayang-ing,
he would turn his head and bite your hand,
then start purring all over again

His mind is so hard to fathom sometimes..

I guess after that I fell asleep..
