Had a talk with this lady,
very experienced with cats
who told us this (rather candidly) when she heard
about the cat's non-fixed meal routine
(such as Miaomiao eating 4 pellets and strutting off
after miaowing pitifully for food)
"The cats are smart. They are training you already"
Oh no! We must not be trained by them!
So we are restarting fixed meals.
Miaomiao just got angry with us for not feeding her,
when it was feeding time
she sulked in one corner and refused to come out to eat.
And another thing is,
we should really try harder to cut Momo's weight,
or he would suffer from health problems in the years to come
We sort of tried,
but maybe we need to look at how to do it better.
Just that the part where she said
they should eat raw meat,
I think we wouldn't go into that.
It was interesting to hear what is different from what I always knew.
Dry food might not necessarily be good
despite "Vet's recommendation labels"
And cats are not lazy! :)
It's just an evolutionary thing
since their ancestors being hunters
nap in between hunts,
explaining why they sleep so much.
And today I learnt that our three cats
are real gentle creatures
who put up with lots of my senseless crap
and sometimes my off-tune singing
Their temperament is really very good compared to others,
so I should not keep saying that Miaomiao is a sulky cat
loving them to bits :)
But of course fixed meals must still go on (hopefully)
