At Bedtime

I was so tired yesterday night,
that I went to my bed
and simply (actually intended to)
just crash into sleep

I slumped into my bed,
and in shock felt cold gooey stuff on my arm

I quickly asked Ougwee to switch on the light,
and there it was,
cat vomit evilly sitting on my bedsheet

And to think that I just bought a new mattress protector
to replace the previous one I threw away
(which was also stained by cat vomit)

So instead of being able to sleep straight away,
Ougwee and I had to change the bedsheets,
put everything in the wash.

Thanksfully this time
the mattress protector was only stained very very slightly.

Shall spray it with Emily's Febreeze later on.
Since it says that it is able to wash
without putting in the washing machine

Finally after that,
I was able to go to sleep.
