New litter for Miao

On 10 February 2009
MiaoMiao got to go out,
as she wished
on a leash and harness

on her 2nd walk out yesterday
she,
upon strangers approaching from afar
stiffened and turned tail
and sprinted back to the safety of home!

she must have been bullied by people
when she was out in the streets last time

so people out there
who've got the habit of BULLYING stray animals,
STOP IT!!!!

poor thing...

but that of course,
didn't stop her curiosity about her outside world,
she still kept running out when she had the chance
then..... sitting and sniffing the plants

MiaoMiao is kind of wells...a little neurotic,
I have to say

Today...
Got a new type of cat litter for MiaoMiao
those cat sand type,
previously she was using wood shaving

I guess it's pretty hard for her to
transit from flaky to grainy cat litter,
so she wasn't able to dig so well,
and wells,
got poo-ey pawprint all over the house,
that even we homo sapiens
with a sense of smell not as strong as sensitve as her
couldn't stand the poo smell wafting all over our house!!!
*FAINTS*
apparently her poo does smell rather decent to her,
given her super smell sense

Miao stepped proudly into the kitchen
and took a few steps
before we realised the disaster upon us

rushed to the living room
and there it was,
Miao's poo mishap evidence on the floor out there

had to clean the floor,
and not to mention clean her paws

she went crazy upon touching water
and threatened to pull our skin out
(thanks goodness she is much smaller than us)
after her water traumatising incident
we tried to wipe her dry,
but she turned her back on us
and licked her "wound" dry

I get what that cat book says,
that cats like to bat someone's leg
when they walk past,
as a form of feline retribution
