There is not much news
for owners for MiaoMiao
Mostly I get the hint when
they do not reply
but I rather they tell me a straight No,
so that I can try looking for other owners
If MiaoMiao was a dog,
the task would have been so much easier
Emily borrowed some books on kittens from the library
In a bid to understand more about the slightly neurotic MiaoMiao,
I took a book to start reading, sitting on the floor
Miaomiao got jealous that
there was something else more worthy of my attention than her,
and started batting the book
(with a yellow-golden cat on the cover page)
Hence I had to give up trying to understand her (by reading the kitty book)
and try some way to entertain her
Which I then realise she is not that easily entertained
Ougwee says I am like a cat in some ways
but you see,
I obviously don't know how cats think
For example,
the tremendous fun that they get
from chasing after their own tails
the way why I simply look so scary
when I just wake up (judgement pending)
and many more
